Its a battle thats been going for a while now and we decided that its time to find out once and for all who the top dog is by building the same game in flash and html. This multi-award winning site runs on everything from mobile to desktop and is built using my own html webGL/canvas rendering engine pixi.js
Pixi.js is a 2D webGL renderer with a seamless canvas fallback that enables it to work across all modern browsers both desktop and mobile. Helping me and hopefully you achieve the big fat goal of “Build once, play everywhere”. Its gained a fair bit of traction over the last few weeks and I have even seen it trending on git hub a few times which definitaly makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside! Its good to give :D
We got a chance to push the boat out with this little guy. The nerd in me is particularly proud as everything about this site is built from scratch including a 3d engine, collada animation importer, lighting, GPU animated skeletons, post processing effects and just for good measure the facebook API! phew I made my brain hurt but I do love to learn :)
Look ma! we made an app! Published by Pikpok games our cheeky little fox is on a mission to save his cubs by bouncing around on rubber bands! Coded up in Objective-C with a nifty bridge that let us design the levels using the flash IDE and test them on our devices instantly. Solid sales and solid 5 star rating have helped this game become a rip roaring success!
Allow me to introduce one of Cartoon Networks most succesful sites ever! Build yourself a whacky little character out of anything and then watch 'em dance/get electrocuted! Shortlisted for a BIMA this site features a super awesome 2D skeleton engine that will automatically reverse rig characters up based on where a user puts thier body parts.
Ladies & Gentlemen, start your engines! Buckle up and brace yourself for the most intense racing action you will find this side of sanity! I built this game entirely from scratch including the 3d engine and after only being out for 2 weeks it racked up over 2 million plays! Most recently we passed the 20 million play mark and also got featured in 3D world magazine!
Daytraders of the Dead is a full on arcade action shooter! A throwback to old school gaming thats all about firepower, power-ups and intense action! I ended up creating a custom blitting engine that squeezed the flash player for all its worth and allows for some seriously crowded intense zombie action that runs fullscreen and at 50fps

The British heart foundations newest weapon for educating kids about healthy eating and exercise! Create your own mini you, feed it a diet of pizzas and coke and see what happens! I created an animation technology that allows kids to upload their own face onto the little yoobots and watch as they gain weight, age and show a full array of emotions. This project was massively successful with well over a million users and best of all its a project that has helped children to live healthier lives!
Meta4orce is a bafta nominated interactive experience about a futureistc crime fighting squad. Lots of papervision went into this one (there are 6 papervision games and the interface). One of my favourate projects!

Built for the BBC the Brain Test Britain experiment was the world's biggest scientifically valid experiment ever with thousands of members of the public participating to help us answer, for the first time, the question: does brain training work? (the results for this project were big news!). I lead the development team in building over 15 minigames for this sweet project

The concept was inspired by the dark side of the moon album cover, follow the 3D sound spectrum rainbow and sample some of the greatness that is Pink Floyd! Nominated for a webby and FWA site of the day Winner. Also made it onto the front page of Digg with 3300 diggs!
